About Us, For You: A Festival of Stories
What an incredible experience it was to be part of "About Us, For You: A Festival of Stories"! A huge shoutout to Cinespace and the awesome Naarm-based initiative SXSEA for creating such a warm and welcoming space for young, diverse voices to shine. Over three fun workshops, I had the joy of witnessing and capturing the creative journeys of some truly talented young people as they explored storytelling through film, music, and theatre, all guided by their wonderful mentors. The showcase was absolutely heartwarming, full of courage and raw talent, and it took place at the Bowery Theatre, thanks to the fantastic teamwork with Brimbank FReeZa's Half-Baked Open Mic. Being part of this program and getting to take headshots of these remarkable creatives during the workshops was more than just a job for me—it was like having a front-row seat to amazing stories that truly deserve to be seen and heard. I’m so proud to have played a small part in this beautiful initiative. Here’s to creating more spaces where diverse voices can shine brightly!
